In a large clear plastic bin that we purchased at Target, I poured 2 bags of corn kernels to start out our sensory bin.
I was surprised at how just the kernel in the bin excited the kids and they played in that for quite a while with nothing else even added.
I let the children add the "straw" into the bin. They always find it excited when they get to help create a bin to play in.
I shouldn't be shocked but yet I am when I see how creative they can be in how they set everything up. I love learning from them!
While this bin was originally created for our Toddler Sensory Play class, my own children (ages 6.5 and 4.5 years old) played with this bin for days!
