What You'll Need
- Pair of jeans
- Puffy Paint
- Paint brushes or Q-tips
- Paper plate
How We Did It
Pick out the jeans that are ready for a makeover. Gather the rest of your supplies and head to an area you're ready to work in.
We have a rug underneath our table in the playroom in case spills happen but this actually wasn't a messy project. As you can see, I didn't even have the kids wear a smock. Only one person got paint in her hair {minor casualty}
We talked about Jackson Pollock and looked online to see his art work. Each child had their own favorite and wanted to do their jeans in a similar abstract fashion.
I let them squeeze the paint themselves onto a paper plate and explained that they was no right or wrong way. Using q-tips or paint brushes, they were able to create their own abstract design.
