Friday Family Night: Pizza

Build Your Own Pizza: we like to do Friday Family Nights so this week we decided to focus on pizza. Getting the kids involved in creating their own dinner, teaches responsibility, patience, and improves listening skills. Plus you can continue the fun and encourage them to do their own dishes.

Pizza Dramatic Play

It's great to get the kids involved in cooking for real in the kitchen but replicating some of the food items for dramatic play, allows them to continue to act out what they're learning in a safe and fun environment

DIY felt food was easy to create and fun to play with but if you don't want to take the time, Melissa and Doug make a great felt set.

Just look at this smile! We've had so much fun playing with this. Yes, I said "we" {I'm pretty sure I love it as much as the kids do}.

These little chef outfits are adorable and add to the fun (and they're only $12 for the set!).  My 6 year old is wearing the size M and my soon-to-be 4 year old wears the S.
